Global Ready School

Dixon Elementary has proudly been recognized for achieving the Prepared Level of Achievement. This signifies that DES has successfully implemented systems and processes to support global readiness, with many components of global education integrated throughout the school.

To earn this designation, we underwent a rigorous application process, which included submitting a detailed application with narratives and evidence supporting our self-assessment rating. Additionally, we hosted a successful site visit by a state evaluation team. Beyond meeting the criteria for Prepared or Model designations, Dixon also met the minimum student achievement requirements for the average composite on statewide achievement assessments and for growth.
